Frequently Ask Questions

Do I need to bring a dance partner to the class?

No. During the class we will assign and rotate partners. This will help you dance with people with different styles of leading and following.

Do you offer walk in classes?

Yes, we do offer walk in classes. In order to preserve the quality and the pace of the classes, level evaluation most be taken if you wish to register to our level 2 classes or higher. To attend a class you must reserve a spot. All of our classes have limited space available.

How should I go dress?

Please come in comfortable clothing and shoes. Dance shoes are highly encouraged. Avoid sneakers or shoes with rubber soles. Men, please come in closed shoes. Ladies, if wearing sandals or heels, make sure they strap at the ankle for better support and avoid thin heels.

What happens if I miss a class during the weekly courses?

At the moment we do not offer make-up classes or other walk-in classes. For the students who purchased a package, we will give a 50% discount on our private lessons to make-up lost classes or if you need extra help. This discount only applies to private lessons to discuss what it's been taught on the course.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final and not subject to refunds. Cancellation of a private lesson must be done at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the missed lesson.

We recommend our students to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to the class. In case of late arrival, the student will forfeit the lost time and will be responsible for the cost of the full class.

How long will it take me to learn?

The time it takes you to learn how to dance varies with each individual based on how many classes they take and how much they practice.

I already know how to dance, do I need to start at the first level?

If you have experience in dancing, we will evaluate you to determine what level you should start. If you have no dancing experience nor had taken lessons, we recommend you start at our first level.
